Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026: How to Watch the F1 Finale from a Yacht at Yas Marina
The Formula 1 season finale is at Yas Marina Circuit from 4 to 6 December 2026. Here is the race-weekend schedule, the after-race concert line-up and every way to watch it from a yacht in the marina.
The Formula 1 season ends where it has ended for years: at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. In 2026 the race weekend runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December, and the circuit's own marina sits inside the track, so a yacht berthed there is one of the few places where you can watch the cars, eat, dance and stay on board for the night without leaving your seat.
This guide covers the weekend day by day, the after-race concerts and the different ways to watch it from the water with Number One Luxury Yacht.
Race weekend at a glance
Times below are local (UAE) and follow the 2026 hospitality timetable; the official Formula 1 schedule is published closer to the race, so check it before you travel.
Thursday 3 December: pit-lane walk and the first concert
Race week opens before a car turns a wheel. The pit-lane walk on Thursday is included with the race-week passes, and the evening brings the first after-race concert night with Zara Larsson and Lewis Capaldi.
Friday 4 December: practice
The first practice sessions run on Friday. The yachts open from the afternoon, and the marina turns into an after-race party in the evening.
Saturday 5 December: qualifying
- 14:00 to 15:00: final practice
- 17:00 to 18:00: qualifying, which sets the grid
- Evening: Imagine Dragons at the after-race concert
Sunday 6 December: the Grand Prix
- 15:30: drivers' parade
- 16:45: air display
- 17:00: the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last race of the season
- Evening: The Chainsmokers and The Script close the weekend
Why watch the Grand Prix from the water
Yas Marina is part of the circuit rather than next to it: the track wraps around the harbour, and many berths face straight onto it. From a yacht you see the cars and the marina at once, you have your own space instead of a grandstand seat, and when the race ends the party starts where you are already standing. Race-week passes also cover access to the Oasis Terrace and the after-race concerts.
Ways to experience race weekend with us
Prices below are the starting prices at the time of writing; the Formula 1 race weekend page always has the current ones.
Shared yacht hospitality
A day or the whole weekend on board a mega yacht in the marina, from 1pm to 1am, with DJs and shows, unlimited premium drinks and international food. Each day includes the marina pass and that night's concert pass, and the three-day weekend pass covers every after-race concert. From AED 9,750 for Friday; VIP adds reserved seating and bottle service.
After-race yacht parties
If the evening is what you are after, the yacht party runs from 8pm to 1am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a live DJ and premium drinks, from AED 3,150. The concert pass is not included with the party and can be added.
VVIP superyacht
Saturday or Sunday on a superyacht, with a buffet lunch, canapés, the sessions from the deck and the yacht party after the racing, from AED 20,000 for Saturday. Both days together are also available.
Superyacht suites
Stay on board for the whole weekend: four nights from Thursday at 4pm to Monday at noon, with two yacht passes per cabin, a welcome dinner, all meals, 24-hour crew, spa and jacuzzi, tender access, the pit-lane walk and all four after-race concerts. Cabins from AED 160,000.
Private track-view yachts
For a group of your own, fifteen private yachts from 88 to 165 feet are berthed for the weekend, most of them with a direct view of the track. Each comes for Thursday to Sunday with its own allocation of marina and concert passes, the pit-lane walk and Oasis Terrace access, from AED 700,000.
W Hotel hospitality suite
Prefer a suite over the circuit to a deck? Race-day hospitality from a Fantastic Suite at the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island starts at AED 5,000 for Friday.
Planning tips
- Book early. Berths, cabins and passes are limited and are allocated in the order bookings are confirmed.
- Plan the journey. Yas Island is roughly an hour by road from Dubai Marina. Transfers can be added to any booking, along with buggies, a hostess, catering, premium drinks, a live DJ and extra marina passes.
- Choose your days. Saturday's qualifying and Sunday's race are the headline days; Thursday's pit-lane walk and Friday's practice are a more relaxed way to see the circuit up close.
